Entrance Examination Details

The primary mode of admission is through JEE Advanced or NEET. Candidates must appear for one of these examinations and secure the required cutoff marks to be eligible for counseling.

For JEE Advanced, candidates must have qualified in JEE Main and meet the eligibility criteria set by IITs. The merit list is prepared based on performance in the exam, followed by an all-India rank (AIR). Candidates are then invited for counseling based on their AIR and preferences filled during registration.

For NEET, candidates must have appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The merit list is prepared based on performance in the exam, followed by an all-India rank (AIR). Candidates are then invited for counseling based on their AIR and preferences filled during registration.

Seat Allocation Process

The seat allocation process is conducted through a centralized counseling system. Candidates who have qualified in the entrance examination must participate in the counseling round, where they can choose their preferred institution and branch based on their rank and availability of seats.

Candidates are required to fill in their preferences for institutions and branches before the commencement of the counseling session. The preference order is crucial as it determines the allocation of seats. After all preferences are considered, the system allocates seats accordingly, ensuring fairness and transparency.
