Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities at Doon Business School are designed to provide a comfortable living environment for students. Hostel rooms are available in various configurations, including single, double, and triple occupancy options.

Room types include:

  • Single Room: Rs. 40,000 per year
  • Double Room: Rs. 35,000 per year

Mess charges are based on a monthly subscription system where students pay in advance for meals. The mess bill includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with additional options for snacks and beverages.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds during holidays or if they miss more than two meals per week due to valid reasons such as illness or travel.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

To support deserving students, Doon Business School offers several financial aid options including fee waivers, concessions, and scholarships based on merit and need.

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees and a 50% concession on hostel rent and mess charges.
  • EWS Category: Students qualify for a 50% reduction in tuition fees, along with partial concessions on other charges.
  • MCM (Merit Cum Means): Students scoring above 90% in their qualifying exam receive a 30% waiver on tuition fees and full concessions on hostel charges.

Applications for financial aid must be submitted online along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates. The selection committee reviews applications based on predetermined criteria and disburses benefits accordingly.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments are to be made through online banking or debit/credit cards using the official payment gateway provided by the institute. Deadlines for fee payment are strictly enforced, with late fees applicable after the specified date.

Late fees are calculated at 1% per month on the outstanding balance and must be paid in full before admission can proceed.

If a student withdraws from the program before completing one semester, they are entitled to a refund of tuition fees minus a processing fee of Rs. 20,000. Refunds for partial semesters are calculated proportionally based on the time spent at the institution.

Refunds are processed within 30 days of submission of withdrawal forms and supporting documents. Students must ensure that all dues are settled before any refund is issued.
