Fee Components Explanation
Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, academic resources, and infrastructure maintenance. It is fixed annually and includes access to libraries, labs, and digital learning platforms.
Hostel Rent: Paid monthly or quarterly depending on the room type selected. Includes utilities like electricity, water, internet, and security services.
Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges for one month, which are adjusted at the end of each month based on actual consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution used to support financially disadvantaged students, emergency assistance, and student welfare programs.
Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services, including consultations with doctors and access to the campus health center.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities, sports events, cultural festivals, and recreational facilities available on campus.
Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting end-of-semester examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.
Hostel & Mess Charges
Our hostel facilities are designed to provide a comfortable living environment for students. There are different types of rooms available:
- Single Room: Rs. 15000 per month (shared with one other student)
- Double Room: Rs. 25000 per month (shared with one other student)
- Triple Room: Rs. 30000 per month (shared with two other students)
The mess billing system is straightforward. Students pay an advance amount for meals, which is adjusted monthly based on actual consumption. Rebate policies are available for students who do not use the mess facility regularly.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
We offer several financial aid options to deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees. Additional concessions may apply for hostel rent and mess charges.
- EWS Category: Students from Economically Weaker Sections receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees, with partial concessions available for other components.
- MCM (Minority Community): A 25% discount on tuition fees is provided to students belonging to minority communities.
Eligibility criteria are based on income slabs and category-specific documentation. The application process involves submitting relevant certificates and supporting documents through the university portal.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments must be made within the specified deadlines to avoid late fees and penalties. Late payments incur a fixed penalty of Rs. 500 per day beyond the deadline.
If a student withdraws from the program, the refund policy applies as follows:
- Withdrawal before 30 days of admission: Full refund minus administrative charges (Rs. 2000)
- Withdrawal between 30-60 days of admission: Refund of 75% after deducting administrative charges
- Withdrawal after 60 days of admission: No refund is granted
Students must submit a formal request for withdrawal along with necessary documents and follow the prescribed procedure to ensure timely processing.
