Tuition Fee covers instruction, course materials, and access to laboratories and libraries. Hostel Rent provides accommodation for students requiring residential facilities, with options ranging from single rooms to shared accommodations.

Mess Advance is a prepayment towards monthly food expenses, which are billed separately at the end of each month. Student Benevolent Fund supports various initiatives including student welfare, emergency assistance, and cultural activities.

Medical Fees cover basic healthcare services provided on campus, while Gymkhana Fees contribute to sports facilities and recreational programs. Examination Fees cover costs associated with conducting exams and evaluating student performance.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Hostels at Government Polytechnic Bans offer both single and shared rooms, with varying charges based on room type and amenities. Single occupancy rooms cost INR 15,000 per semester, while shared rooms range from INR 8,000 to INR 12,000 depending on the level of comfort.

Mess billing is done monthly, with charges varying based on meal preferences and dietary requirements. Students can opt for vegetarian or non-vegetarian meals, with additional surcharges for special dietary needs.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial assistance is available through fee waivers and scholarships for students belonging to SC/ST/PwD, EWS, and MCM categories. Eligibility criteria are defined by the government based on income slabs and family background.

Scholarship recipients must submit proof of income, caste certificates, and other relevant documents during the application process. Applications are reviewed annually, with benefits ranging from partial to full fee waivers depending on individual circumstances.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid by the specified deadline each semester. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 1000 per day beyond the due date. Refunds are processed according to official guidelines, with deductions made for administrative charges and late payment penalties.

Students who withdraw from the program may receive partial refunds after deducting incurred expenses and penalties. The refund process typically takes 4-6 weeks post-withdrawal confirmation, subject to compliance with all academic and financial obligations.
