The admission process for the Industrial Maintenance program at Govt Polytechnic Khatima is highly competitive and merit-based. Prospective students must go through a series of well-defined steps to secure their seat in the program.
Firstly, candidates are required to register online via the official website of the institution. The registration process involves filling out personal details, academic information, and uploading scanned copies of necessary documents such as mark sheets, certificates, and identity proof.
After successful registration, students must appear for an entrance examination conducted by the university or a recognized national-level exam like JEE Main or JEE Advanced. The exam tests candidates' knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English language proficiency.
Following the entrance examination, shortlisted candidates are called for document verification at the college premises. During this stage, all original documents must be submitted for verification, including class 12th mark sheet, passport-size photographs, caste certificate (if applicable), and any other relevant certificates.
Once verified, the merit list is prepared based on the performance in the entrance exam and academic records. Candidates are then allocated seats according to their rank and preferences filled during counseling. The entire process typically spans over a period of two months from application to final seat acceptance.
To be eligible for admission into the Industrial Maintenance program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
