Fee Component Breakdown
The tuition fee covers access to all lectures, laboratory sessions, and academic resources including digital libraries and research databases. It also includes access to career services, alumni networks, and industry exposure events.
Hostel rent provides accommodation in air-conditioned rooms with shared facilities such as common areas, laundry services, and 24/7 security. The rent structure is designed to be affordable while ensuring quality living conditions for students.
Mess advance covers the cost of meals provided by the university's catering services. Students are required to pay an initial advance amount, which is adjusted at the end of each month based on actual consumption.
The Student Benevolent Fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies during their academic journey. Contributions are voluntary and go towards providing assistance for medical emergencies, family crises, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Medical fees cover access to basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center. This includes consultations, vaccinations, and emergency treatments.
Gymkhana fees contribute to maintaining sports facilities and organizing fitness-related activities and competitions for students. These funds ensure that students can stay active and healthy during their studies.
Examination fees cover administrative costs associated with conducting semester-end exams, including proctoring, question paper preparation, result processing, and certificate issuance.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers several hostel options to accommodate students from diverse backgrounds:
- Single Room: INR 35,000 per semester for a private room with attached bathroom and study table.
- Double Room: INR 28,000 per semester for a shared room with two occupants, including common bathroom facilities.
- Triple Room: INR 21,000 per semester for a shared room with three occupants and common amenities.
The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle. Students are required to pay an advance amount of INR 25,000 at the beginning of each month, which is adjusted based on actual consumption. The menu includes nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, prepared by certified chefs using hygienic practices.
Rebate policies are available for students who miss meals due to valid reasons such as illness or travel. Students must submit a medical certificate or travel document to claim rebates.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university provides various financial aid options to support deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from these categories are eligible for full fee waivers based on income proof and reservation criteria.
- EWS Category: Students with annual family income below INR 6 lakhs are eligible for partial fee concessions of up to 50%.
- MCM (Meritorious Children of Merit): Merit-based scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and extracurricular achievements.
Applications for fee waivers and concessions must be submitted along with required documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates. The process is reviewed by a dedicated committee that evaluates each application based on merit and need.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid through online payment gateways or NEFT/RTGS transfers to the university's designated account. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 500 per day until the dues are cleared.
Students who wish to withdraw from the program must submit a formal application within the first week of the semester. Refunds are processed according to the following policy:
- Withdrawal before 15 days: Full refund minus processing charges of INR 2,000.
- Withdrawal between 15-30 days: 80% refund minus processing charges of INR 2,000.
- Withdrawal after 30 days: No refund is granted except in cases of genuine medical emergencies or force majeure events.
