Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose:
- Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory sessions, library access, and academic resources.
- Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation for students residing on campus with shared facilities.
- Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges to ensure consistent dining services throughout the semester.
- Student Benevolent Fund: Supports financially disadvantaged students and emergency assistance.
- Medical Fees: Ensures access to medical care on campus and basic health services.
- Gymkhana Fees: Funds recreational activities, sports facilities, and cultural events.
- Examination Fees: Covers examination administration, grading, transcript issuance, and certification.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel system at LNCT BHOPAL INDORE CAMPUS offers various room types to accommodate different needs:
- Single Occupancy Room: 20,000 INR/month with attached bathroom and private study space.
- Double Occupancy Room: 15,000 INR/month with shared bathroom and common area.
- Triple Occupancy Room: 12,000 INR/month with shared facilities and communal areas.
The mess billing system operates on a monthly advance model. Students pay an initial deposit of 20,000 INR per semester for meals. Additional charges are applied based on consumption and meal plan selections. Monthly bills are adjusted accordingly, with refunds issued if excess payments are made.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
We provide financial assistance to students from economically weaker sections through various scholarship schemes:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fee and 50% reduction in hostel charges. Income slab: Upto ₹2,00,000 per annum.
- EWS Category: 50% reduction in tuition fee and 30% reduction in hostel charges. Income slab: ₹2,00,000 - ₹4,00,000 per annum.
- MCM (Minority Community Members): 25% reduction in tuition fee and 15% reduction in hostel charges. Income slab: Upto ₹3,00,000 per annum.
To apply for these concessions, students must submit relevant documents such as income certificate, caste certificate (for SC/ST), disability certificate (for PwD), and family income proof to the finance department within the first month of admission.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments are made online via net banking or debit card transactions. The system generates receipts upon successful payment, which can be downloaded from the portal. Late payments attract a penalty of 2% per month on outstanding balances.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refunds are processed according to the following rules:
- Full refund (minus administrative charges) if withdrawal occurs within 15 days of admission.
- 70% refund if withdrawal occurs between 16-30 days of admission.
- 40% refund if withdrawal occurs after 30 days but before completion of one semester.
- No refund if withdrawal occurs after completing one semester.
Refunds are processed within 30 working days of submission of the withdrawal request and required documentation.
