Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university dormitories with shared amenities such as common rooms, laundry facilities, and 24/7 security services.

Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges for the semester, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the campus cafeteria. The advance is adjusted based on actual consumption at the end of the semester.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution towards scholarships, emergency assistance, and welfare activities for students in need.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the university hospital, including consultations, diagnostic tests, and medication.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Fee Waivers, Concessions & Scholarships

M K University Patan provides several financial aid options to ensure accessibility for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees and 50% concession on hostel rent. Additional grants may be available for medical expenses.
• EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees and 25% concession on hostel rent.
• MCM (Minority Community Students): 25% concession on tuition fees and 10% discount on hostel rent.

Eligibility for these concessions is determined based on income slabs and official certificates issued by the respective authorities. Applications must be submitted within the first month of admission along with supporting documents.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments can be made online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or demand drafts. Late payments attract a penalty fee of INR 500 per day until clearance is achieved.

The refund policy applies to students who withdraw from the program before the start of the semester or within 10 days of admission. Refunds are processed after deducting administrative charges and outstanding dues.

Students can also apply for fee restructuring in case of financial hardship, subject to approval by the finance committee and submission of relevant documentation.
