Fee Components Explanation

Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction, access to academic resources, and administrative support. It includes fees for lectures, practical sessions, and online learning platforms.

Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation for students living on campus. Rent covers maintenance, utilities, security, and other amenities provided within the hostel premises.

Mess Advance: A prepayment for food services during the semester. The mess advance is adjusted against monthly mess bills, which are collected at regular intervals.

Student Benevolent Fund: Supports students facing financial hardships through scholarships and emergency assistance programs.

Medical Fees: Covers medical services available on campus, including basic consultations, vaccinations, and first aid.

Gymkhana Fees: Funds the operation of sports facilities, fitness equipment, and recreational activities for students.

Examination Fees: Covers costs related to conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple hostel options with varying amenities and pricing. Students can choose between single, double, triple, and quad occupancy rooms depending on their preferences and budget.

Room Types:

  • Single Occupancy Room: INR 15,000 per month
  • Double Occupancy Room: INR 12,000 per month
  • Triple Occupancy Room: INR 10,000 per month
  • Quad Occupancy Room: INR 8,000 per month

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students pay an advance amount at the beginning of each semester, which is then adjusted against actual consumption. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or during specific periods.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides several financial assistance options to deserving students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% fee waiver on tuition fees.
  • EWS Category: Students in the Economically Weaker Section category receive a 50% fee concession on tuition fees.
  • MCM (Meritorious Candidate Merit): Top performers in JEE Main or equivalent exams may receive partial fee waivers based on their performance.

Applications for fee concessions and scholarships must be submitted through the university portal within the specified deadline. Detailed documentation including income certificates, category certificates, and academic records are required.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid before the start of the semester or by the due date indicated on the fee structure table. Late payments attract a penalty of 2% per month on the outstanding amount.

If a student withdraws from the university, the refund policy is as follows:

  • Withdrawal within 15 days: Full refund of tuition fees and hostel charges.
  • Withdrawal between 16-30 days: Refund of 75% of tuition fees and full hostel charges.
  • Withdrawal after 30 days: No refund will be processed.

Refunds are processed within 45 working days after submission of the withdrawal form. Students must ensure that all dues are cleared before applying for refunds.
