Candidates who qualify in these examinations must also submit their scorecards along with the application form. If selected, they will be called for counseling sessions where seat allocation occurs based on merit and category-wise ranks.
Seat Allocation and Counseling
The university conducts centralized counseling sessions following the national-level entrance exam results. The process involves several steps:
- Candidates must register for counseling and fill in their preferences for available seats across different categories.
- Based on merit and category, seats are allocated through a computerized process using the rank obtained in the qualifying examination.
- After allocation, candidates must confirm their acceptance of the seat by paying the required fees within the specified deadline.
- Final admission is confirmed only after all formalities are completed.
The university follows a centralized counseling mechanism managed by the Ministry of Education to ensure uniformity and fairness across institutions.

- Practice solving previous year question papers to understand the exam pattern and time management.
- Take mock tests regularly to assess strengths and weaknesses and improve accuracy.
- Attend coaching classes or self-study sessions focusing on conceptual clarity rather than rote learning.
- Keep updated with current affairs, especially in science and health-related topics, as they often feature in reasoning sections.
For counseling, candidates must carefully evaluate their options based on previous year rankings. It is advisable to prioritize seats according to personal preferences and risk tolerance levels. Also, make sure to consider the proximity of campuses and available infrastructure before finalizing choices.
