Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, library resources, and administrative support. Includes access to digital learning platforms and online databases for research purposes.

Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation in well-maintained dormitories equipped with essential amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and common areas. All hostels have 24/7 security services and maintenance support.

Mess Advance: Paid upfront to cover monthly food expenses in the campus mess. Students can choose between vegetarian and non-vegetarian options and are billed at the end of each month based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A fund used for supporting financially disadvantaged students, organizing cultural events, and providing emergency assistance during medical emergencies or natural disasters.

Medical Fees: Covers routine health checkups, vaccinations, dental care, and basic medical services provided by the university's on-site clinic. Includes access to specialized consultations when needed.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports physical fitness programs, sports activities, fitness equipment maintenance, and participation in inter-college competitions and tournaments.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting semester examinations, grading, result processing, and issuing certificates. Includes access to online result portals and transcript generation services.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers three types of hostels with varying amenities and room configurations. Single occupancy rooms are available for Rs 15000 per semester, while shared rooms accommodate two or four students at rates of Rs 12000 and Rs 10000 respectively.

Mess charges are fixed at Rs 8000 per month and include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Students can opt for different meal plans based on dietary preferences and nutritional requirements. The mess operates under strict hygiene protocols and uses organic ingredients sourced from local farms.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they are absent for more than three consecutive days due to illness or family emergencies. Rebates are processed monthly and adjusted against future bills after verification by the hostel administration office.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides financial assistance through various scholarship schemes aimed at supporting meritorious students from economically weaker sections, SC/ST/PwD candidates, EWS, and MCM categories. Eligibility criteria include academic performance, family income, and category-wise reservations.

Application forms for scholarships are available online through the university portal. Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees must be paid within 7 days of the start of each semester to avoid late fee penalties. Payments can be made through net banking, credit/debit cards, or demand drafts drawn in favor of Mangalayatan University Aligarh.

Late fees are calculated at 2% per month on outstanding balances after the due date. Students who wish to withdraw from the program must follow a formal process involving submission of withdrawal forms and approval from the concerned authorities.

Refunds are processed within 30 working days upon approval of withdrawal requests. Deductions include administrative charges, hostel rent for the current month, and any outstanding dues. Refund amounts are credited directly to the student's bank account as per the original payment mode.
