  • EWS: Economically Weaker Section candidates with family income below Rs. 8 lakh per annum.

Merit-Based Selection

Candidates are ranked based on their performance in the qualifying examination and additional criteria such as aptitude tests conducted by the university. The merit list is prepared using a weighted scoring system that considers academic scores, subject-specific strengths, and extracurricular achievements.

Choice Filling Strategy

To maximize chances of admission, aspirants should carefully study the previous years' rank data and understand their preferences in relation to available seats. A recommended approach includes:

  1. Selecting top-tier institutions as backup options
  2. Considering regional preferences for better chances of seat allocation
  3. Using a mix of safe, moderate, and ambitious choices to optimize the probability of admission
  4. Ensuring that all required documents are complete before submitting choices

Document Verification

Selected candidates must appear for document verification at the university campus within the specified date. Required documents include:

  • 12th mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID)

Seats are allocated through a centralized counseling process managed by the university. The final seat allocation is based on merit rank, category-wise reservations, and candidate preferences. Candidates who do not get a seat in their first round of counseling may be placed on a waiting list for subsequent rounds.
