Component-wise Explanation of Fees

Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose and contributes to enhancing the overall student experience:

Tuition Fee

This covers the cost of instruction, including access to faculty, resources, and infrastructure required for teaching and learning. It ensures that students receive high-quality education from experienced educators who are committed to excellence.

Hostel Rent

The hostel rent includes accommodation in air-conditioned rooms with basic amenities such as beds, tables, chairs, and wardrobes. The university maintains clean and well-maintained dormitories that provide a safe and comfortable living environment for students.

Mess Advance

This fee covers the cost of meals provided by the university's cafeteria, ensuring that students have access to nutritious food throughout their stay. The mess advance is typically paid once per semester and is adjusted based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund

This fund supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies, providing them with necessary assistance during challenging times. Contributions are voluntary but play a vital role in helping fellow students overcome obstacles.

Medical Fees

The medical fees cover access to healthcare services provided by the university's on-site clinic, including consultations, vaccinations, and basic treatments. This ensures that students can access timely medical care without worrying about additional costs.

Gymkhana Fees

This fee supports the activities of the student gymkhana, which organizes sports events, fitness programs, and recreational activities for students. It promotes physical well-being and encourages participation in extracurricular activities.

Examination Fees

The examination fees cover costs associated with conducting end-of-semester exams, including invigilation, question paper preparation, and result processing. This ensures fair and secure evaluation of student performance.

Other One-Time Charges

This category includes miscellaneous expenses such as registration fees, identity card charges, library fines, and other administrative costs that are incurred during the academic year.
