The admission process for the B.Tech Agriculture program at Netaji Subhas University Jamshedpur is conducted through JEE Advanced or other recognized national-level entrance examinations. The application process begins in December each year, with the final deadline usually falling in January.
Prospective students must register online via the official university website and complete the application form with accurate details including academic history, personal information, and preferred categories (General, SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwD). After submission, applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000 for JEE Advanced or equivalent exams.
Once the application is submitted, candidates receive a confirmation mail along with a unique ID number for tracking purposes. The next step involves uploading scanned copies of necessary documents such as photo, signature, Aadhaar card, and class 12th marksheet.
The university releases a merit list based on performance in JEE Advanced or other qualifying exams. Candidates who secure positions within the cutoff ranks are called for the counseling process, where they must choose their preferred branch from available options.
