Application Procedure
The application process begins in December and ends in January for the upcoming academic year. Candidates must register online through the official website of Oriental University Indore. The registration involves filling out personal details, educational background, and uploading required documents such as Aadhaar card, photograph, signature, and mark sheets.
After successful registration, candidates must appear for either JEE Advanced or JEE Main, depending on their category and eligibility. The score obtained in these exams determines the candidate's rank, which is crucial for seat allocation during counseling.
Following the exam results, candidates participate in the centralized counseling process conducted by the university. During this phase, they fill out preferences for various courses based on their rank and category. Seats are allocated based on merit, reservation policies, and availability.
Counseling Process
The counseling process consists of multiple rounds, each with specific timelines and procedures. The first round starts in March, followed by subsequent rounds if seats remain unfilled after the initial allocation. Candidates must report to the designated center with necessary documents for seat acceptance.
Each candidate receives a counseling letter with instructions on how to proceed with seat confirmation, fee payment, and document verification. The process is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring equal opportunities for all eligible applicants.
