Fee Components Explanation

Each component of the fee structure serves a specific purpose and contributes to the overall educational experience at Rk University Rajkot:

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides hostel facilities for students who wish to live on campus. Hostel rooms are categorized into different types based on comfort and amenities:

  • Single Occupancy Room: INR 20,000 per semester
  • Double Occupancy Room: INR 15,000 per semester
  • Triple Occupancy Room: INR 10,000 per semester

The mess charges are fixed at INR 15,000 per semester, covering meals for all three meals a day. The mess facilities provide a variety of food options, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Students can choose their meal preferences and are required to pay the advance amount at the beginning of each semester.

Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals during certain periods. The rebate is calculated based on the number of days the student is absent from the mess and is processed at the end of each semester.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from SC/ST/PwD categories are eligible for a 100% fee waiver.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

The payment of fees is done online through the university's payment gateway. Students are required to pay the fees within the specified deadline to avoid late fees and penalties. The payment deadline is usually one week before the start of the semester.

Students who fail to pay the fees on time are subject to late fees, which are calculated as a percentage of the total fees. The late fee is charged for each day the payment is delayed.

In case of withdrawal from the program, the refund policy is as follows:

  • Withdrawal before the start of the semester: 100% refund
  • Withdrawal within the first month: 75% refund
  • Withdrawal after the first month: 50% refund

The refund is processed within 30 days of the withdrawal request, subject to the deduction of any outstanding fees or penalties.
