Hostel & Mess Charges
Roorkee College of Management and Computer Applications Roorkee offers several types of hostels to accommodate students based on their preferences and financial capabilities. The room types include single occupancy, double occupancy, triple occupancy, and shared rooms with varying levels of comfort and amenities.
The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, where students pay an advance amount for meals throughout the month. The charges are adjusted based on actual consumption and the number of days stayed in the hostel during that period.
Rebate policies are applicable to students who stay outside the campus or travel frequently. These rebates reduce the hostel charges proportionally and are processed through the student portal after submitting necessary documentation.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
To ensure accessibility to quality education, the college offers various fee waivers and concessions based on income slabs and other criteria. The scholarship schemes include:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fees and partial waiver of hostel charges for eligible candidates.
- EWS Category: 50% reduction in tuition fees and 25% reduction in hostel charges.
- MCM (Minority Community): 25% concession in tuition fees and 10% reduction in hostel charges.
The eligibility criteria for these schemes are determined based on government guidelines and income certificates issued by competent authorities. Students must submit relevant documents along with the application form to qualify for financial aid.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments for fees can be made through online banking, credit/debit cards, or NEFT/RTGS transfers. The college provides a dedicated payment portal where students can track their transactions and generate receipts.
Late fee charges are applicable if payments are not made within the specified deadline. The late fee is calculated at 5% per month on the outstanding amount, subject to a maximum limit of INR 20,000.
Refunds are processed in case of withdrawal from the program or cancellation of admission. The refund policy specifies that 90% of the fees paid will be refunded after deducting administrative charges and any applicable penalties. Withdrawal requests must be submitted before the start of the academic year to ensure timely processing.
