Fee Breakdown and Explanation

The tuition fee covers instruction, access to library resources, laboratory facilities, and academic support services. Hostel rent includes accommodation in air-conditioned rooms with common areas, study spaces, and 24/7 security.

Mess advance is a prepayment for meal expenses during the semester. It includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner options across multiple dining halls. The mess billing system ensures transparency by tracking daily consumption and adjusting balances accordingly.

The Student Benevolent Fund contributes to student welfare initiatives such as scholarships, medical aid, and emergency support. Medical fees cover healthcare services provided within campus clinics and partnerships with nearby hospitals.

Gymkhana fees support extracurricular activities including sports events, cultural programs, and technical workshops. Examination fees cover administrative costs related to conducting assessments and issuing certificates.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Students can choose from various room types based on comfort and affordability:

  • Solo Room: ₹50,000 per semester with single occupancy and private bathroom facilities.
  • Duo Room: ₹40,000 per semester shared between two students with attached bathroom facilities.
  • Triple Room: ₹30,000 per semester shared among three students with common bathroom facilities.

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students receive a monthly bill that reflects their actual consumption. Rebates are provided for students who stay in hostels for the entire academic year or those who meet specific attendance criteria.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Several financial aid options are available to eligible students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligibility requires a valid certificate from the respective authority. Benefits include full fee waivers for tuition and hostel charges.
  • EWS Category: Income slabs up to ₹3 lakhs qualify for 50% concession on all fees except examination fees.
  • MCM (Minority Community Members): Eligibility requires documentation proving minority status. Benefits include partial fee concessions and scholarship support.

The application process involves submitting scanned copies of certificates, income proofs, and identification documents through the online portal. Applications are reviewed by the financial aid committee based on predefined criteria.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments must be made within 15 days of receiving the fee notice. Late fees are calculated at ₹100 per day beyond the deadline. Students can make payments through net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI.

In case of withdrawal from the program, students must submit a formal request to the administration office along with necessary documentation. Refunds are processed according to the university's refund policy, which deducts administrative charges and outstanding dues before issuing the remaining balance.
