Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel accommodation at SANGHVI INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND SCIENCE PGDM is designed to provide a comfortable living environment for students. There are several room types available:
- Single Occupancy Room: Rs. 40,000 per semester for one student.
- Double Occupancy Room: Rs. 35,000 per semester shared between two students.
- Triple Occupancy Room: Rs. 30,000 per semester shared among three students.
The mess billing system operates on a prepaid model where students pay in advance for meals. Monthly mess charges are calculated based on the number of days attended and adjusted accordingly at the end of each month.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The institute offers various fee waivers and concessions to deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fees for eligible candidates with a 100% discount on hostel charges.
- EWS Category: 50% reduction in tuition fees and 25% discount on hostel charges.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): 25% reduction in tuition fees and 10% discount on hostel charges.
Additional scholarships are available for meritorious students based on their performance in qualifying exams and academic achievements. The application process involves submission of required documents along with the online application form.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid through NEFT, RTGS, or online banking channels. Payments can also be made via credit/debit cards or digital wallets provided by the university's financial partner.
Late payments attract a penalty of Rs. 500 per day after the due date. Students are advised to make timely payments to avoid any inconvenience.
Upon withdrawal from the program, students are eligible for refunds according to the following policy:
- For withdrawal within the first month: 100% refund
- For withdrawal between 1-3 months: 75% refund
- For withdrawal after 3 months: No refund
The refund process is completed within 30 working days of receiving the formal request from the student.
