Detailed Fee Components

Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction, laboratory sessions, and access to academic resources. It is one of the most significant components of the fee structure and is paid per semester.

Hostel Rent: The hostel rent covers accommodation in the university's residential facilities. The university provides comfortable and well-maintained hostels for students, with various room types available.

Mess Advance: The mess advance is a one-time payment required to cover the initial meal expenses for the semester. Students can adjust this amount based on their consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students in need and covers various welfare activities. It is a small one-time payment that contributes to the university's community support initiatives.

Medical Fees: The medical fees cover basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center. Students have access to routine check-ups, vaccinations, and emergency medical care.

Gymkhana Fees: This fee supports the university's sports and recreational activities, including access to gym facilities, sports equipment, and organized events.

Examination Fees: The examination fees cover the cost of conducting semester-end exams, including the evaluation and grading of student performance.

Other Charges: These charges include administrative fees, library access, and other miscellaneous expenses related to the program.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers a range of hostel accommodations to suit different preferences and budgets. Hostel rooms are available in single, double, and triple occupancy options, each equipped with essential amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and internet connectivity.

Hostel charges vary based on the room type and the level of amenities provided. Single occupancy rooms are the most expensive, followed by double and triple occupancy rooms. The university also provides additional services such as housekeeping, maintenance, and security.

The mess system is designed to provide nutritious and hygienic meals to students. The mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals consumed and the quality of food provided. Students can choose from a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, with special dietary arrangements available for those with specific needs.

Rebate policies are in place for students who are absent from the hostel for a specified period. These rebates are calculated based on the duration of absence and the applicable hostel charges.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various fee waivers, concessions, and scholarships to eligible students based on their financial background and academic performance. These financial aid options are designed to ensure that deserving students can access quality education without financial constraints.

SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to SC, ST, or PwD categories are eligible for a 50% fee waiver on tuition and other applicable charges.

EWS Category: Students from the EWS category are eligible for a 25% fee concession on tuition and other applicable charges.

MCM (Minority Community): Students from minority communities are eligible for a 10% fee concession on tuition and other applicable charges.

The application process for fee waivers and concessions involves submitting the necessary documents, including income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates, to the university's finance department. The university reviews these applications and approves them based on the eligibility criteria.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students are required to make the payment for their fees by the specified deadlines to avoid late fees and penalties. The university provides multiple payment options, including online payment, bank transfer, and cash payments at the finance office.

Late fees are applicable for payments made after the due date. The late fee is calculated as 1% of the total fee amount per month, with a maximum cap of 10% of the total fee.

The university has a clear refund policy for students who withdraw from the program. Refunds are processed based on the university's refund rules, which consider factors such as the reason for withdrawal, the duration of study, and the amount of fees paid.

Students who withdraw from the program before the commencement of the semester are eligible for a full refund of fees. Those who withdraw after the semester has started are eligible for a partial refund, subject to the university's refund policy.
