Hostel & Mess Charges
Students are accommodated in university-hosted hostels, which offer comfortable living conditions with shared amenities. Hostel rooms are categorized into single occupancy, double occupancy, and triple occupancy options, each with different rent charges:
- Single Occupancy: Rs. 60,000 per semester
- Double Occupancy: Rs. 45,000 per semester
- Triple Occupancy: Rs. 30,000 per semester
The mess system provides three meals daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at fixed rates. Meals are served in designated dining halls with varying levels of service and dietary options. Students can opt for different meal plans based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
To ensure accessibility to quality education, the university offers various fee waivers and scholarships based on merit and need:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver of tuition fees and partial concessions for hostel charges.
- EWS Category: 50% waiver of tuition fees and full waiver of examination fees.
- MCM (Meritorious Candidates): Full waiver of tuition fees and hostel charges for top performers in entrance exams.
Applications for fee waivers must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates. The application process involves verification by the university administration and approval from relevant authorities.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments are due at the beginning of each semester, with specific deadlines announced in advance. Late payments incur a penalty fee of Rs. 500 per day until cleared.
If students withdraw from the program during the first month of the semester, they are eligible for a full refund of tuition fees and hostel charges. Withdrawals after one month result in partial refunds based on the number of weeks attended.
Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal, subject to verification by the finance department. Students must submit all necessary documents including withdrawal forms, original receipts, and academic records to complete the refund process.
