Fee Components Explained
Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction and access to academic resources including textbooks, digital libraries, and laboratory facilities.
Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in our on-campus hostels, which are equipped with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry services, and 24/7 security.
Mess Advance: A prepayment for meals provided through our campus dining facilities. The advance covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the semester.
Student Benevolent Fund: A small contribution towards supporting students facing financial difficulties or emergencies during their studies.
Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services available on campus, including consultations with resident doctors and emergency care facilities.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports the maintenance of sports facilities, fitness programs, and recreational activities for students.
Examination Fees: Includes costs associated with conducting exams, evaluating papers, and issuing certificates upon completion of each semester.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel accommodations at our institute come in different room types to suit varying needs. Options include single occupancy rooms, double occupancy rooms, and shared dormitories. Each room is equipped with essential furniture, internet connectivity, and air conditioning.
Mess billing follows a transparent system where students are charged for each meal consumed. Monthly mess bills are calculated based on actual consumption and adjusted accordingly. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly due to academic commitments or other valid reasons.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
We offer several financial aid options to support deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 50% concession on tuition fees and full exemption from hostel charges.
- EWS Category: Receives a 25% reduction in tuition fees and partial assistance with hostel charges.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): Eligible students receive a 10% concession on tuition fees and a 50% waiver on mess advance.
Applications for fee waivers must be submitted through the official portal along with supporting documents such as caste certificates, income proofs, or disability certificates. The review process takes approximately two weeks after submission.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees are to be paid online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or NEFT transfer. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with a late fee of ₹500 per day applied for overdue payments beyond the stipulated date.
In case of withdrawal from the program, students must follow a formal procedure involving submission of a written application and clearance of all dues. Refunds are processed within 60 days after approval, subject to deductions as per the institute's refund policy guidelines.
